I'm Really Trying To Blog...But...

My mind is blank. All the pre-pregnancy gray, spongy matter that used to fire off neurons or synapses is now old and dirty, unable to absorb anything.

Because I Never Want To Forget He Said This

In the car, Ian pipes up from the backseat and says, "Hey Mom, do you know who my best dad ever is? God."

I So Need These

So I can leave them on people's car windshields. Also I'd like to see the look on their face when they read them.

And come someone please tell me what she's doing. She quite scares me.

I've Decided

that summertime and blogging don't seem to go together for me. It's been fairly non-existent. Just been hanging around the house for the most part and nothing has really gone on. I thought that I would blog about our camping trip, but honestly, all it did was rain just about the entire time we were there. We were eaten alive by mosquitoes any time we stepped out of the trailer. Not a whole lot of fun.

School starts in 2 weeks. Madison will be in 5th grade. It's hard to believe. Ian will be in 2nd grade. Ian will also be going to a new school this year. I decided to put him in Trillium Academy, which is a local charter school. I just didn't feel that he would do well in a class with 36 kids this year. Madison can handle it. Michael and I felt that Ian would get lost in the shuffle. Hopefully he adjusts well. Please pray for him. He's not too thrilled with going to school without his sister or with the uniforms. We would have put Madison in too, but there were no opening for 5th grade and this is her last year in elementary school and we figured she could stay with her friends. Next year it will be Trillium for her too.

I guess that's all for now. I'm off to take the kids to Vacation Bible School at church. Have a great day!

and yet I cannot think of a single thing to write about. Any suggestions? This pregnant brain of mine doesn't seem to be working properly anymore.

Complaints of the Day

1. I'm hot. My air is not working very well.
2. My allergies are driving me nuts. I call the doctor and ask what I can take, she tells me Benadryl, I am now a zombie. But I'm not sneezing, coughing or have itchy, watery eyes.
3. Madison has taken to not listening what I ask her to do. Or I have to ask her 20 times. Oh Lord, here comes the preteen fun.
4. There is nothing on TV.
5. I'm sweaty. See #1.

I think that is all for now. Feel free to leave a complaint comment.
