What Should I Blog About?

I've been staring at this screen for about 15 minutes now and nothing has popped into my head yet. Oh I could ramble on about all the bad kids at work or how this baby loves lying on my left hip so much that by 7:00 p.m. everyday I'm limping. None of that sounds too exciting though.

Honestly, nothing much has been going on. I killed a cockroach at work this morning. Aren't you all just giddy with excitement?

I did read about something totally gross on Kenny's blog. Koolickles. Have you ever heard about them?

Basically, they are dill pickles that have been marinated in Kool-Aid. They originated in the delta region of Mississippi and taking the world by storm. I guess Alton Brown (Food Network) stopped off at a convenience store during his travels through Mississippi and discovered these. They sound completely gross to me and I am a connoisseur of dill pickles. Pretty sure I won't be trying them any time soon.

I suppose that's it for now. I have to head back to work soon. I'll probably have another 5 year old tell me how mean I am again today.

I saw those koolickles things on a commercial for the Food Network... pickles in general aren't my thing so these just seem super gross to me... but I think my sisters-in-law in love them. Funny, random, thing to blog about... thanks for the info!

A few weeks ago, I saw a recipe for Koolickles in a newspaper down south, then saw them on Alton Brown's show. Not sure I'd waste a good pickle and a pack of Kool-Aid to make 'em though. But then again...who knows...we might like 'em.
Thanks for blogging!

Hey! Don't write off the Koolickles so quickly! Miss A is swearing by them already and they haven't even marinated yet (she just dipped them in the Kool-Aid). Stay tuned Monday for a full critique of the delicacies! I predict you'll have a batch in your fridge by next weekend! :)

Kel, I know this is gross but the Vietnamese word for a weiner is pronounced Koo (spelled cu) and with the lickles after it just kills me, thought that might make ya laugh.
